Resilient Mind, Body and Spirit Continuing Studies Course
From hurricanes to heartaches to health crises, we all experience challenges that threaten to overwhelm our emotional, physical and practical resources. Yet people are capable of surviving and thriving in the face of extraordinary difficulties. Resilience is the capacity to adapt well to significant stress and hardship. Research has demonstrated that many aspects of resilience can be learned and enhanced, even in adulthood.
Tibetan meditation specialist Alejandro Chaoul, Ph.D., and psychologist Michael Winters, Ph.D., co-teach this course sharing Eastern and Western philosophical and scientific insights on cultivating a resilient mind, body and spirit. Deepen your potential to bend, not break, in the face of life’s inevitable stresses in this supportive class. Course includes in-class exercises and optional weekly practices.
