Advanced Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery Course
The goal of this course is to share the pioneering advances in HPB surgical oncology on which MD Anderson has published hundreds of studies over the past two decades, in order to teach participants how technology and oncology can be used together to improve short-term surgical outcomes and long-term cancer-related outcomes.
The target audience includes practicing surgeons who treat and operate upon HPB cancer patients.
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
On-site registration for the MD Anderson Advanced Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery Course will be open at Noon on Thursday, November 9, 2017. The course will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9 and will end at Noon on Saturday, November 11. Advance registration is encouraged as space and materials are limited. Please see registration form for applicable fees.
The deadline for advance registration is October 20, 2017.
