Goal

The 1st Oncological Critical Care Research Network (ONCCC-R-NET) International Conference is designed to change the status quo. It will provide a platform that enables physical interaction of isolated global leaders who can collaboratively identify knowledge gaps in oncologic critical care: outcomes (e.g., ICU utilization, mortality, cost issues etc.), healthcare disparities (e.g., racial, geographical), and intensive care delivery to the critically ill cancer patient) to ultimately establish a standard of care for this population.

Educational Objectives (Conference)

After attending this conference,participants should be able to:

  • Identify existing knowledge gaps inoncologic critical care (Knowledge)
  • Better understand available resources to improve clinical management of our patient population (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes)
  • Identify core research interest areas to collaborate (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes)
  • Improve bedside technical skills from workshop seminar (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes)
