18th Annual Hot Topics in Liver Disease: New Knowledge That Is Ready for Clinical Practice
The rapid progress of basic science and clinical research in hepatology makes it impossible for clinical practitioners—primary care providers, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, nurses, practitioners, physician assistants and other healthcare providers—to keep up or discern which advances are ready for clinical application. The goal of our 18th Annual Conference is to summarize the newest information that can be utilized immediately in clinical practice. Our faculty experts include 4 internationally acclaimed guest faculty and 10 Baylor academic, clinical Hepatologists, infectious disease & gastroenterologist . We chose only topics that are frequently encountered in clinical practice, such as the diagnosis and management of cirrhosis and its complications, metabolic and autoimmune liver diseases and chronic viral hepatitis and liver transplantation. Ample time has been scheduled for questions and discussion during panels following each section.
