By Texas Medical Center | July 16, 2015

The Erdheim-Chester Disease Global Alliance will hold its 3rd Annual International ECD Medical Symposium on October 8th this year in Houston’s renowned Medical Center. M.D. Anderson Cancer Center will host the event.

Erdheim-Chester Disease (ECD) is an ultra-rare disease with about 550 cases documented in the medical literature worldwide, but is believed to be gravely underdiagnosed. Distinguished doctors from around the world will share the latest findings with patients and families living with the disease.

Medical professionals who would like to attend the one-day event can find more information at http://www.erdheim-chester.org.
