Superheroes moonlight as window washers at Texas Children’s Hospital

The patients at Texas Children’s Hospital looked out the window Oct. 30 to discover a special surprise: their favorite superheroes, squeegees in hand, giving Texas Children’s windows a super wash.

The young patients were delighted to see Spiderman, Superman, Batman and Captain America had all taken time from their busy schedules saving the world to make sure the hospital’s windows were spotlessly clean.

This isn’t the first time the heroes, whose civilian alter egos are employees with Texas Window Cleaning, have strapped themselves into harnesses and rappelled down the side of Texas Children’s. They have become a familiar sight in recent years, bringing smiles to the children’s faces and helping them forget about hospitals and medicine for just a little while.
